
A Bit About Me
I am one of Denver’s most well-known job-seeking consultants and provide an inspiring, heartfelt and common-sense approach to job development and career development training. I have transformed the focus of individuals, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and businesses.
As President of Creating Purpose LLC, a coaching and consulting firm in Golden, Colorado, for 20+ years, I work with individuals and businesses in defining their personal brand, addressing a multigenerational workforce, stress management, Encore Careers, and aligning their strengths with a solid foundation of purpose, motivation, quality and success. I also offer the Facilitating Career Development (FCD) course, leading to credentialing nationally and internationally.
My background of 20+ years in senior level marketing positions provided expertise when transitioning into career coaching and training. I have been a featured panelist on CBS, Channel 4, a featured expert on ABC, Channel 9, and several national forums and my workshops and keynotes extend to government, education, non-profit and private business regionally and nationally.
I hold Master Degrees in both Adult Development and Creative Writing as well as advanced certifications in Organizational Training and Development and Strategic Leadership and Coaching. I carry the Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor (GCDFi) credential as well as the Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) credential and have been an Affiliate Professor in Psychology, Social Psychology, Positive Psychology and Career Development at Regis University in Denver
I have held leadership positions on the Colorado Career Development Association Board and am Board emeritus of the University College Alumni Board of the University of Denver as well as a recipient of the Rich Feller Award for the outstanding career development practitioner in Colorado.
